Apparatus: 

The Forza OX-525-B is the latest instrument available from Forza International to perform the testing and analysis of samples in compliance with the ASTM D525 test method. Also known as the Oxidation Stability of Gasoline by the Induction Method. The OxyPlus is developed to ensure the reliability and performance of the instrument over the long term, with a strong insistence on safety. With core technology being the heated metal block, Forza has integrated world-class technology to ensure the temperature is held within +/- 0.1 Deg C of the user inputted temperature, which complies with ASTM D525. Layered on top of the technology are both hardware and software based safety features, like an automatic shut-off when the temperature exceeds a certain limit.

High-purity stainless steel line oxygen charging unit: comprise of Regulator and braided hose with quick connects for rapid filling of the pressure vessels:

  • High-purity 316 stainless steel bar stock body construction
  • High-purity 316 stainless steel diaphragms
  • Metal to metal seals minimize diffusion of contaminants
  • 2” delivery pressure gauge
  • Bonnet ported and threaded to pipe gases away from work area
  • The 10-micron metal filter protects the seat from contamination
  • 1/4” compression tube inlet/outlet connection

Integrated Data Acquisition System:

The integrated DAQ system saves the customer significant effort, time, and space as opposed to using a desktop computer. The OxyPlus DAQ system includes state of the art software that automates the data acquisition and analysis of the pressure coming from the samples and calculates the induction point of the sample. The software is fully ASTM D525 compliant. A database system is also integrated into the software to ensure clients. have access to all their sample data and historical results.
